Army Public School, Ramgarh Cantt started with effect from 1st Oct 1991 under the aegis of the Army Welfare Educational Society. The school was recognised by C.B.S.E. in 1993, The aim of the School is to impart education in all fields. We aim to awaken the curiosity in the students, develop proper interest, attitude, values and make them good citizens.

Army Public School, Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) was established on 01 Oct 1991 with the conversion of Sainik Vidyalaya, which was later bifurcated on 02 Feb 1992.

It attained affiliation with the CBSE on 22nd November 1993 upto Secondary level and in 1998 for plus 2 level. The School has Science and Commerce streams and 29 sections.

The School is few hundred meters away from Ramgarh town on Patratu Road. The School is located at a scenic place with a backdrop of hills of Chutupalu Ghat enroute to Ranchi.
