The school was established on 15th April 2010.VIDYA VIKASH PUBLIC SCHOOL, situated at the campus of Sukumar De education Centre , is managed and maintained by VIDYA VIKASH TRUST,a charitable Trust dedicated to Service of people of Jharkhand in areas such as education , health and other social services.The SUKUMAR DEY EDUCATIION CENTRE has been named in honour of late Dr. Sukumar De, a Physician, a Philanthropist and a social worker of Ranchi, Jharkhand.We understand our duty towards our children , society and country and shall always stand up to their expectation.

The Motto of the School is ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’, i.e. Truth is God and is beautiful.
