Overview:

The foundation of the school was laid back in 1980 by Mrs. Kabita Das Roy with the sole intention of serving the society. She believed that children were the future and their empowerment would lead to progress. As a result, Star International School came into existence.

SIS is housed in tranquil lush green, eco-friendly campus of over 7 acres. The moderate weather conditions round the year makes it an ideal setting for a day-cum-Residential school. Maa Bhagwati Temple in the middle of the campus, which regulates and enlivens the life, is the centre for all Vedic activities i.e. Dhyan, Puja, Aarti and Havan.

The campus features two major building blocks, 45 well-ventilated classrooms, sophisticated labs i.e. Physic, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Computer, Library, activity room, common room, cafeteria & a sprawling play ground.

SIS offers good hostel facilities with comfortable boarding and lodging, study & recreation for its in-house student community.
