Kendriya Vidyalaya (in Hindi : केन्द्रीय विद्यालय) is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into being in 1962 under the name "Central Schools" and has been affiliated with CBSE since then. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tatanagar a civil sector Vidyalaya, Sponsored by South Eastern Railway. It established in 1987. It is located near the Tatanagar Railway station. The Vidyalaya comes under the jurisdiction of KVS, Regional office, Ranchi.

Every year a good number of students of this Vidyalaya compete in the entrance exam of high profile. It is a co-educational institution. It has the classes from I to XII.
