A man has three names - the name he inherits, the name his parents give him and the name he makes for himself, Mr. Brahma Dutt Sharma, founder and Managing Director of Govind Vidyalaya ,Tamulia , earned his name by his hard work, dedication and determination. It is a co-educational English Medium Senior Secondary School, affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, was established in 1980. It is also an ISO 9001:2008 Certified School bearing no. QCMPL/Q/J/0270. The School's strong academic trust embedded in universal values of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' empowers the students to become winners holistically.

Govind Vidyalaya has a total 10400 square meters of land with 9106 square meters of playground with 3 main building blocks and 1 playground. We have a total of 66 rooms in which there are 3 small-sized rooms, 30 medium-sized rooms, 30 large-sized rooms, 1 male rest room and 1 female rest room. There are 8-8 toilets for both boys and girls, 5 toilets for differently abled persons, 3-3 washrooms for both female and male staff. We have 1 library, 4 laboratories, 1 student canteen and 1 staff canteen. We also have 3 RO water purifiers, 2 auditoriums and 50 computers in computer lab.
