amlong (Ranchi), was devoid of schools, so the people of Samlong locality put forward their need for an Institution for girls to Bishop and urged him to open a high school. Father Durt who was in the Parish saw the need of school and invited Apostolic Carmel Congregation. As a result on 21st January 1968, the Carmel School for girls was established.

We aim to be a very happy, caring school where children feel valued, stimulated and challenged. Our students are unique individuals who come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
